During the song "Mini Maharani", Reenu says "Dhaba Girls" when she and Karthika stand in front of a highway restaurant. This is a callback to her and director Girish A.D's previous film Super Sharanya, where the the group of the central character and her friends call themselves "Dhaba Girls".
The third and consecutive collaboration between Naslen and Girish A.D.
Karthika's fiancee is played by the real life husband of Akhila Bhargavan who played Karthika.
Girish A.D. stated in an interview that this film was originally thought as a spin-off to Super Sharanya, which follows Mamitha's character Sona goes to Hyderabad for a job after her studies.
Mamitha Baiju (Reenu) and Sangeeth Prathap (Amal Davis) have played cousins in Girish A.D's previous film Super Sharanya.
