Not a fairytale

The effect of religion in the African household has been stressed throughout and the more you notice the more you feel sad for the children raised by parents who put all their focus in their religious paths. None to them.

Pepeta feels like something inspired by true events. The use of perspective is exquisite. The characters facing dilemmas between life and death, love or hate is so enticing.

The harsh truth is told. The decisions you choose in life shall define you and there shall be consequences.

Pepeta is hard to watch especially if you can relate. A masterpiece that requires an observer, a true patriot.
