This is the first Killzone gane to be on the PS Vita and the second one to be on handheld consoles. The first to be on hand held consoles was Killzone Liberation for the PSP.

Goofs
The Intruder dropships have an open troop compartment, carrying troops on the outside. This is a very flawed design, as it would leave the troops within exposed to both enemy fire and harsh atmospheric conditions as well as imperil them to falling out of the troop compartment during evasive manoeuvres or high speed drops.

it awful don't play it play kill-zone 2 it's so cool Killzone: Mercenary takes place on the planets Vekta and Helghan, locked in an interstellar war. The game is set in between Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 and revisits many of the key events of Killzone, Killzone: Liberation, and Killzone 2 from the perspective of Arran Danner, a mercenary hired to execute operations for the ISA. He is supplied by mysterious weapons dealer Blackjack, and is aided at times by his boss Anders Benoit.
