Movie is created with nowadays time consideration. It is more like biography of Sant Tukaram like it is stating some events of his life. In vaarkari sampradaay it is said that Sant Dyaneshwar created base of vaarkari sampradaay and Sant Tukaram is epitome of vaarkari sampradaay, i.e. Sant Tukaram is highest point of Vittal Bhakti. In movie Sant Tukaram is portrait as a typical poet. Sometimes we feel that it is a commercial film with less devotion. BTW acting is good and dialogue delivery is also good. First time when I watch this movie I feel it is a great movie on Sant Tukaram. But when I watched Sant Tukaram movie release in 1936 which is of full of devotion towords Vitthal bhagwan then I feel some negative point as stated above.
