A bar-restaurant owner by profession, Bai Lang finds himself facing his most dreaded fear when his sister drags him to the dentist to get treated for his toothache. At the clinic, Bai Lang is assigned to the cold yet charming Jin Xun An, the head dentist who seems rather reluctant to examine Bai Lang.

The following day, Bai Lang decides to prepare a special seafood risotto to express his sincere gratitude to Xun An. However, upon offering the meal to Xun An, all he receives is a cold response in return.

One evening as the bar is going about its usual round of business, one of Bai Lang's employees, Alex, finds himself in a situation he never saw coming when one of the customers takes hold of Alex and kisses him in front of everyone. It turns out the troublesome customer is a bratty boy by the name of RJ. Meanwhile, Bai Lang, in the face of Xun An's constant persuasion, decides to bolster up the courage to return to the dental clinic.

In a surprising turn of events, RJ is now hired to work alongside Alex at the bar who appears to take a particular interest in guiding him. In the meantime, Xun An seems to have gotten ill, and Bai Lang decides to go over to check on him.

Upon learning Xun An had been emotionally hurt in the past, Bai Lang becomes adamant about uncovering the reason behind it. Meanwhile, Big A, the youngest dentist at Xun An's clinic, finds himself crossing paths with a peculiar patient who has apparently been assigned under him.

Since they're becoming closer, Lang decides to tell Xun An about his fears and anxieties regarding dentists. And just as Xun An is trying his best to bridge his relationship with Lang, an unexpected person suddenly appears between the two.

In a strange twist of fate, a man who was once in a relationship with Jin Xun An suddenly makes a reappearance in his life. Will this "lover from the past" become an obstacle to the growing affection between Jin Xun An and Bai Lang?

As Lang notices that Xun An has once again begun to reconnect with his former lover, he begins to understand the feelings he has been harboring for the man he's in love with. However, has this realization come a little too late for him?

In order to show his genuine sincerity to Jin Xun An, Bai Lang begins to take many considerate steps. Will Jin Xun An feel touched by his actions?

The easy relationship between Jin Xun An and Bai Lang kick-starts their coupled life together, but Bai Lang's sister feels worried about the developments.

Even though the relationship between Jin Xun An and Bai Lang has become very stable, their busy lives means the two of them have few opportunities to get together, and this affects Bai Lang's mood.

RJ finally returns to work at the bar. Bai Lang meets Jin Xun An's family.
