      Cody's RAM truck has its logos blacked in the front and back. However, Kyla's Toyota Corolla doesn't have blacked logos.
    • Goofs
      The movie takes place just before Christmas in Michigan, and it was shot in the winter. However, there is a small difference between mid December and late February / early March - you can hear loud singing by singing birds in the woods scenes (when Kyle and Cody walked through it), and they don't sing between early autumn and late February / early March.

    Actually had substance!

    This was pretty darn good I was surprised and happy! My husband sat through the whole movie with me which he rarely does and he mentioned that this movie actually had substance! Loved the mystery plot. Loved that there was more than one story line acting was very good. One of the best Christmas movies I've seen this year. I rated it seven out of 10. Beautiful scenery and I loved the gorgeous cabins and furniture craftsmanship. It is rare that I ever watch any of these movies more than once but I look forward to seeing this one again. The relationship between the male lead and the female lead was believable.
