Two elite soldiers with troubled pasts are enlisted for a daring mission when a deadly masked villain threatens India's defenses.

A Masked man attacks the Indian Army and steals a package which has future of India and also warns more destruction.Colonel Adil Shekar Azad realizes this enemy is a psycho and to stop him he should call his psycho officers Firoz (Freddy) Bade Miyan and Rakesh (Rocky) Chote Miyan.Azad briefs his officer Captain Meesha to trace both the officers who were court martial few years back,Rocky shows his willingness to join the mission but Freddy rejects due to past humiliation. As the package has been traced to United Kingdom Meesha,Rocky and Azad travel to the country aided by UK based Dr Pam and find that the package is hidden under Waterloo station in a vault .Azad gets captured by masked men but Rocky,Meesha and Pam are closed to the vault until they get trapped by the gang of masked men.Freddy arrives to rescue them where Rocky realizes that over the years he was working as an undercover officer for Azad they all are surprised to see what they find in package.Where in Freddy briefs them package was just a reason but it was a whole trap laid by Masked men to get Freddy and Rocky to UK for a motive.—[email protected]

A masked perpetrator attacks an Indian convoy which contains a deadly weapon. The attack is carried out by well-armed masked men, who ambush the convoy in the Himalayan ranges. The convoy is attacked with howitzers, helicopters and tanks, and all the soldiers guarding the convoy are killed after a long battle. The package being guarded by the convoy falls into the hands of the attackers. The perpetrator tells the Indian Army that they will have to race-against-time to prevent the destruction of India. He promises use India's weapon to wipe out the country off the face of the map within the next 3 days. The top command in India includes General Karan Shergill (Manish Chaudhari), and Indian Defence Secretary (Pawan Chopra), who are clueless about how to deal with the threat.

Captain Misha meets her informer Chang (Kinnar Boruah) in Shanghai, who tells him that the biggest war in the history of the country is coming. Captain Misha (Manushi Chhillar) faces off against a masked attacker in Shanghai (who kills Chang); she impales him, but his wounds inexplicably heal instantly and he escapes. Misha uses a tracker to figure out that the package is in the UK. She finds it impossible that the perpetrators were able to take a military asset from India to UK, bypassing all security layers of multiple countries in between. For this, one needs to have intricate knowledge of intelligence, security practices and protocols.

Misha reports the incident to Col. Adil Shekhar Azad (Ronit Roy), who instructs her to enlist court-martialed soldiers Firoz (Freddy) (Akshay Kumar) and Rakesh (Rocky) (Tiger Shroff) for the mission. Rocky was working as a firefighter in Delhi. Freddy works at an oil rig. However, only Rocky agrees to help as he was sick of his life outside of the action. Freddy says that his loyal service only earned him humiliation and refuses to get involved.

9 years ago Freddy and Rocky worked with Azad to attempt a rescue mission of the Indian Ambassador (Khalid Siddiqui) in Afghanistan. The Ambassador was kidnapped along with his wife (Nyorika Bhatheja) and son (Vidhaan Sharma), and are kept in Sakkotabad a tiny village in the middle of the desert. The kidnappers wanted the release of the son of IC-714 hijacker Jamaluddin (Bijay Anand), whom they want to anoint the new head of Al-Qaeda. Jamaluddin's son was in Tihar jail back then. Freddy and Rocky manage to reach the hostages, but their presence is discovered and the entire terrorist camp open fires on them. Freddy and Rocky manage to fight them off, but then they find that Jamaluddin is alive, who was supposed to have been killed by the CIA. Despite orders from Azad, Freddy and Rocky go after Jamaluddin. They kill Jamaluddin, but this allows the terrorists to regroup. Freddy and Rocky fight them off and successfully bring the hostages to ex-filtration point and reach India via helicopter.

Misha and Rocky arrive in London and meet Parminder (Pam) (Alaya F), an IT specialist assigned to assist them. Pam has a huge crush on Rocky. In London, Azad gets shot by the masked perpetrator. Azad is injured, but alive and he is tortured by agents of the masked man to reveal his secrets.

The team infiltrates the London tube to retrieve the stolen package, which is being stored at a secret vault built for the Royal family under Waterloo station, during WW II. But the team is attacked by the masked men and defeat Rocky. Freddy arrives in time to help them fight off the masked men. While Freddy and Rockey keep the attackers engaged, Pam unlocks the vault, revealing that the package is actually Captain Priya Dixit (Sonakshi Sinha), Freddy's ex-girlfriend. Since the hard drives were at the risk of being hacked, the codes to Karan Kavach, a highly advanced Indian defense system, were encrypted inside Priya's brain. Karan Kavach is a system designed by ISDO (Indian Science and Defense Organization) to repel simultaneous attacks from China and Pakistan. It is an Iron dome system to protect the whole country. The masked perpetrator and his army take Priya hostage and the perpetrator reveals himself as Kabir (Prithviraj Sukumaran), a scientist and former friend of Freddy and Rocky.

Past: 7 years back, Kabir, Rocky and Freddy are best friends. Kabir intends to help the Indian Army with his latest invention: a cloning program where clones based on Freddy and Rocky's DNA could be programmed with orders and win wars without the originals being killed. The clones will follow orders without fail. He also promises to develop an upgrade that would make the clones indestructible. When Kabir reveals his intentions to conquer the world using this invention, Azad orders him to shut it down since it would go against ethics. Azad says that a controlled army can create anarchy in the hands of a traitor. Kabir refuses to shut down the project citing his 15 years of hard work and investment into it. He claims that humans can make mistakes, but his programmable soldiers are perfect. They are the future. He refuses to remove the override command from the clone soldiers.

Kabir switches sides and sells the invention to India's enemies. Kabir considered Priya his friend and she was aware of his plans. Priya reveals this information to Azad, where Freddy and Rocky are given orders to destroy the program and capture Kabir alive, but they end up killing Kabir and are court-martialed for not following orders, after which Freddy breaks up with Priya.

Present: Kabir reveals that he survived because the person, who died due to Rocky and Freddy, was actually his clone Eklavya. Eklavya's death left him vengeful as he loved the clone like a son. The masked men were actually Freddy and Rocky's clones. Kabir reveals that he has also cloned Azad and kills the real one. Kabir kidnaps Priya and leaves Freddy and Rocky to die, but they kill Kabir's henchmen and reveal to the team that Kabir plans to turn Pakistan and China against India by deactivating the Karan Kavach and launching airstrikes against the two countries, which would cause India's reputation to be tarnished globally.

Freddy, Rocky, Misha and Pam infiltrate Kabir's base, where Kabir Decrypts the password from Priya's brain. Freddy and Rocky eventually face off against their own clones, who keep rejuvenating due to an internal power source. The duo kills all the clones by luring them into a power grid, causing them to explode. Kabir launches the airstrikes before Freddy and Rocky kill him. Priya reveals that "Eklavya" is the password. The Karan Kavach is reactivated, averting the airstrike and a potential war. The team leaves the base while Kabir survives.
