As Apex Legends Narrative Lead Ashley Reed explained during an interview with GameRant, developing Alter was all about finally introducing an unapologetically evil character into the game.

Apex Legends players have had a rough start to Season 22 with many issues from Battle Pass to Ranked being completely broken. And while Respawn Entertainment has rolled out patches addressing some of the issues, Ranked play remains broken.
