I LOVE history even the gossipy kind.....LOL & was happy to see this while looking up other familys including a cult called the FAMILY & I found this by luck only.......its a good mix of letters read & interviews on how the other half lives. But they were more like the embryonic stage of the old money getting those roots even deeper. Political GOP originators....its also still around thanks to money= legacy. But its rarer each generarion is removed from that legacy....but...From Lincoln to Teddys presidency many people changed. Not these guys. Well-- It wasn't vulgar to be so wealthy & leave in huge piles while they gambled drank screwed & golfed probably while others were dying to protect their freedom. People stealing the silver oh my....? There are ALWAYS good people in any demographic & interviews w old ladies whose mum sirvived the Titanic cuz you know. Rich people. (Lament the Astors for their martyrdom but these folks seem more likely a perfect example of how they really behaved.) Some arent too terrible but... We arent evolving anymore. Do people miss coming out parties..? some do.......LOL I wont ruin the ending as watching this you notice they will become the elists on the RIGHT as bad as their political opposition. Do as we say not as we do. So song remains the same. But the education for the super rich today is not what we see in the past. So the guilded age may be gone with the wind...Eileen was a woman who lived large. Worth a look. Only an hour.
