In every episode, in a deliberate break from the real world, Doctor Hunt's job does not require the wearing of surgical masks, respirators, lab coats, surgical gloves, shoe coverings, plastic aprons, arm protectors, hair coverings and goggles. No mask, no googles, free flowing hair is pure television fiction.

Throughout the series, Dr. Megan Hunt talks down to and orders Dr. Curtis Brumfield around, even though he is her superior in the office hierarchy.

In the real world, this continued behavior would get someone suspended or fired, no matter how good they were at their job.
