Srikanth is a poor person who is interested in music . he often masquerades as a music pandit and gives music shows in many villages only becuase of his passion. once he comes to Suhasini's village . Her maid cum foster daughter Lalila falls for him as she too is very much intersted in music . she comes to know his economic status and still continues to love him . a few catchy duets follow . Her maternal uncle Chakravarthy who workds for the local railway also loves Laila deply but she is not aware of htis fact . His mother Nirmalamma keeps cautioning him to reveal is love to Lalia before it gets too late . MEanwhile Suhasini's husband Charan Raj returns from Dubai . He keeps eying and cornering Laila . When Suhasini come sto know she fixes her wedding with Chakravarthy as she is not aware of Srikanth. A lot of confusions and twists follow . Finally when Laila reveals her heart , chakravarthy gets her married to Srikanth . Suhasini wears nice cotton sarees to show her domestic status. she is better looking with more screen presence than Laila who looks cute and innocent through out . The whole movie has many nice hummable songs . We end up sympathising with Chakravarthy who has saved for his marrige and dreams about it every single day and finally gives her away to Srikanth .
