Director and co-star Günther Hendel (don't worry, he doesn't participate in the sex scenes) seems to have had a some kind of James Bond sex romp in mind with this picture, but unfortunately his resources must have let him down and he was forced to come up with a framework story starring himself (as CIA agent Bill Johnson). Even then the film came in way under 60 minutes and had to be extended with some grainy stock footage from rather uninteresting stag films.
Starting off with music reminiscent of The Third Man, the main credits lists each cast member by the usual hard to decipher cover name (how apt). We cut to Hendel, who welcomes the audience to the cinema and begins to tell his tale. It begins in Norway, where Bill Johnson is tailing two secret agents who are busy keeping each other warm in bed. The female of the pair is played by Sylvia Engelmann (as Silvia Angel) They are doing such a good job of this that despite the freezing temperatures outside, they don't need any sheets to cover them.
Meanwhile, in Sicily, Johnson's young English wife (Biggi Senzhorn as Biggi Sten) is cheating on him with Marcello, the titular Sex-Agent. Johnson ends up blaming himself: serves him right for marrying a stripper. Marcello's game is to prod the wives of CIA agents for information. And obviously he's very good at it. Johnson also teams up with a blond, played by Doris Arden, but unfortunately she never even takes her clothes off. There is a rather sloppily filmed and edited fight sequence between Marcello and the CIA agent (obviously because director Hendel was sorely missed behind the camera).
After this the hunt for red Marcello is on. This consists of him seeking shelter in various places that are supposed to be all over Europe but of course are all filmed in Germany, and lots of footage from the aforementioned cheap looking stag movies. Marcello falls in love with a nude dancer while his enemies study some 'top secret film' smuggled from behind the Iron Curtain featuring The Sex-Agent. I'm beginning to think this project was originally conceived as a 20 minute reel which somehow got expanded into a feature. Finally Bill tracks his man down but only manages to shoot a ketchup bottle in one of the most contrived and anti-climactic showdowns ever.
