The Avengers Initiative

This episode of Marvel Studios Legends describes the origins of the Avengers Initiative and how it was a big thing in the MCU. It was the thing that really shaped the MCU. The MCU builds up an Avengers film every phase in the Infinity Saga and that is so because of the Avengers Initiative. It builds up the series What If...? What If...? Is a series that looks at different universes and the Avengers could look different in them. Like there's an episode in the first season called What if the World Lost Its Mightiest Heroes? (with it the Mightiest heroes being the Avengers). As well, other episodes include Captain Carter being the first Avenger, T'Challa becoming a Star Lord, Doctor Strange losing his heart instead of his hands, Killmonger saving Tony Stark, and Ultron winning. Those episodes revolve around a character involving the Avengers in the main timeline. Those episodes even branch off from events in the main timeline with those characters.
