Absolutely amazing series! Tells the story about the first couple of years of Nokia mobile phones. Really riveting storytelling and super interesting backstory. As there is still so much more to the story of Nokia, I hope there will be more episodes soon!
Not perfect series, in the middle of the series looked like not enough people in the scenes etc, but the series culminated in the last two series. Satu Tuuli Karhu and Sampo Sarkola were perfect actors.

The first season was amazing. The storytelling, attention to minor details and chemistry between the actors was great! Hope there is more to come. Looking forward to season 2n.
Kudos to writer and director Maarit Lalli. The immersion of 1980's was perfect (although the cars were too clean). The story telling was perfect. I sat there watching and hoping it would never end. Well casted, well written, well directed. The attention to detail was on a high level. There had clearly been a lot of background research, as there always is with series based on a true story. As a youth of the 1980's, and living in those areas where this series took place, I can tell it looked quite real. This story is an important piece, and it gives a good picture of how money and power was, and probably still is, concentrated in the hands of a few.

This series was very disappointing. I was expecting an interesting history, with drama of course, on the meteoric rise of Nokia.
Instead what I got was a long, drawn out, mostly pointless, boring drama full of uninteresting characters. There is so little going on that it could have easily been condensed into a season half of its length. Honestly, there were so many long scenes that seemed to go on for eternity and left me wondering what they were supposed to convey.
I wish I'd listened to my gut and bailed after a couple of episodes. I think the Nokia story is an interesting one but this just wasn't it.
I'm not sure what series the other reviewers watched but the 10 ratings seem a bit suspect!

How baffling are the AI (?) written rave reviews, which are very short and not even 50 words. The box I'm writing in demands a minimum of 600 characters. There's something fishy going on! Anyway, to the series itself: it started as (what seemed to me) a comedy drama and it was quite fun. Then it got more and more bogged down in long-drawn-out legal and technical stuff, lightened just a little by the antics of Aki. Six episodes were far too many. Towards the end it melted down into patriotic Finnishness. I suspect that you need to be a Finn to appreciate all this - I expect there are lots of nuances closed to me as an outsider. It's also cheaply made. The 80s are there in the cars and technology, but they could have made much more of the era. The Berlin Wall falls, unmentioned, as far as I can recall. The scenes outside the American courthouse are just terrible. It's impossible to believe for a second that the actors ever left Finland in the making of this. This series was not really fit for export.
