When Aleida is trying to make the case that Emma was spying for the Soviets, she mentions Aldritch Ames. This is a real person, a CIA agent who began spying for the Russians in 1985. Ames initially was paid $50,000 for what he had intended to be a one time deal to settle his indebtedness, but continued spying for the Russians because the money was so good. In real life, Ames was arrested in early 1994, after having betrayed dozens of American sources in Russia and having collected hundred of thousands of dollars from the Russians.

Goofs
When Ellen is being driven in her motorcade, a poster for Black Widow (2021) can be seen in the background. Scarlett Johansson would have been ten when the scene takes place.

Probably the worst episode in the series because it makes no sense.

Why is a man that is clearly challenging personal demons left in charge of the command console? Why did the Commander think it a good idea to not confine him until he comes to his senses? If you want a good Mars story go and watch M A R S by National Geographic, it has decent actors, a really good story and an excellent documentary esque to it between story segments.

Just like with the Moon shooting, the ending scene here has that same lack of logic.
