You don't even need to leave your couch to catch some of the latest releases,...

The romantic comedy "My Girlfriend's Boyfriend," starring Alyssa Milano and Christopher Gorham, will get its U.S. premiere on WB Digital's pay-per-view and VOD platforms and has been sold around the world by Opus Distribution.

Those deals and global sales on three other movies were announced by Ken DuBow, who founded Opus a year ago with private investment after working at MGM/UA, Modern Entertainment and elsewhere during the past 30 years.

Two other films will premiere on Lifetime channels: the horror thriller "Next Stop Murder," starring Brigid Brannagh and Rosa Blasi, on the Lifetime Movie Network, and the thriller "Locked Away," starring Jean Louisa Kelly and Kirsten Prout on Lifetime Network,

"Murder" and "Locked" were produced by Seven Palms, a company formed by former Nrg and Otx researcher Kevin Goetz, who also runs research firm Screen Engine, with partners Johnson Chan of Hong Kong and Vincent Reppert. They research movie...

"My Girlfriend's Boyfriend" is a new romantic comedy, written/directed by Darren Tufts and produced by actress Alyssa Milano.

Budgeted at $1.4 million, the indie feature stars Milano as 'Jesse Young', described as an intelligent, sassy young woman, looking for a little inspiration of her own, Christopher Gorham as 'Ethan Reed', a likeable young man in the doldrums of having yet another novel rejected by a publisher, Michael Landes as 'Troy Parker', a confident, successful advertising executive, Tom Lenk as 'David Young', Jesse's brother and reluctant grand prize winner of the 'Spry Gum' spokesman contest and Beau Bridges as 'Logan Young', Jesse's uncle.

Christopher Gorham has joined the cast of the suspense-thriller "The Ledge." According to The Hollywood Reporter, he joins a cast that includes Charlie Hunnam, Terrence Howard, Liv Tyler and Patrick Wilson.Matthew Chapman wrote the screenplay and is directing. The film tells the story of a man (Hunnam) standing on a high-rise ledge who insists he must jump by noon as a cop below (Howard) tries to talk him down. Gorham will play Hunnam.s roommate. Michael Mailer ("Loverboy") and Mark Damon ("Monster") are producing the film, which began shooting last week in Baton Rouge, La. Gorham is best known for his work on ABC.s "Ugly Betty." "Ugly Betty" actor Christopher Gorham is the latest to climb up on "The Ledge."

He joins Charlie Hunnam, Terrence Howard, Liv Tyler and Patrick Wilson in writer-director Matthew Chapman's suspense thriller. The film tells the story of a man (Hunnam) standing on a high-rise ledge who insists he must jump by noon as the policeman below (Howard) tries to manage the situation. Gorham will play the distraught man's roommate, a television editor.

Michael Mailer ("Loverboy") and Foresight Unlimited's Mark Damon ("Monster") are producing the film, which began shooting last week in Baton Rouge, La. Howard, Moshe Diamant, Bobby Ranghelov and Tamara Stuparich De La Barra are exec producers.

Gorham, repped by CAA and Hyphenate, next appears in the features "My Girlfriend's Boyfriend," "Trivial Pursuits" and "Somebody's Hero." He also stars opposite Piper Perabo in the USA series "Covert Affairs," which premieres during the summer.

Bobby and Peter Farrelly's upcoming comedy "Hall Pass" has recruited four more actors: Christina Applegate, Alyssa Milano, Larry Campbell and Vanessa Angel. Already starring in the New Line Cinema production are Amanda Bynes, Jenna Fischer, Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis.

The film follows a married couple hoping to spice up their relationship when the wife (Fischer) gives her husband (Wilson) a pass to have sex with different people. Another couple does the same. Jason Sudeikis co-stars as Wilson's friend, the other man with a pass.

The Hollywood Reporter says Stephen Merchant, J.B. Smoove, Nicky Whelan and Derek Waters are also part of the cast. Applegate will soon be seen in "Going the Distance." Milano has "My Girlfriend's Boyfriend" coming up soon. You may know Campbell from "Accoriding to Jim."...

Christina Applegate is the latest to join the Farrelly brothers comedy "Hall Pass," in production at New Line. Alyssa Milano, Larry Campbell and Vanessa Angel also have jumped aboard.

The new cast members join Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis, Jenna Fischer, Amanda Bynes, Stephen Merchant, J.B. Smoove, Nicky Whelan and Derek Waters in the comedy, which began shooting Tuesday in Atlanta. The film centers on what happens when two husbands are given permission to go outside their marriages for guilt-free romantic liaisons for one week.

Bobby and Peter Farrelly wrote the script with Pete Jones and Kevin Barnett and are producing with their Conundrum Entertainment partner Bradley Thomas.

Applegate, repped by CAA and Management 360, next stars in New Line's romantic comedy "Going the Distance," which hits theaters in October. She recently appeared in "The Rocker," "Surviving Christmas" and "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy."

Cannes -- Film and TV industry vet Ken DuBow turned his PorchLight off at this year's MIPCOM to launch new international distribution house Opus, DuBow said Wednesday.

Opus Distribution's first projects at the market include Alyssa Milano and Beau Bridges-starrer "My Girlfriend's Boyfriend" and "Prodigy" which has already sold to Viasat in Scandinavia, Eagle in the Middle East, Albrije in Latin America and Fairmead in Africa.

Opus has also kicked off pre-sales on "Locked Away" and "Bus Stop Conspiracy," both of which will be produced by Seven Palms.

DuBow joined PorchLight in 2007 after a run at First Look as evp of Worldwide. "PorchLight was a place the content was first judged to be morally correct and then the question of is it commercial got asked. Tom Lenk, who starred as Andrew on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, will make his Broadway debut as Franz in the Tony-nominated musical Rock of Ages on Sept. 14. Lenk originated the supporting role, the son of a German developer who wants to demolish the Sunset Strip (including La's favorite rock club), in Los Angeles and Las Vegas productions. He phoned EW to give us the scoop and the often hilarious backstory. • A UCLA theater grad with formal voice training, Lenk went to college with Rock of Ages' Tony-nominated director Kristin Hanggi. They've worked together before — on a production of Ann E. Wrecksick, an Annie spoof about bulimic orphans, in the basement of a Mexican restaurant in Silver Lake, Calif. the summer after his first season on Buffy. She knew he was also friends with Rock of Ages writer Chris D'Arienzo, and phoned Lenk to tell him that D'Arienzo had a role that might suit him.

New York -- Fox Searchlight's Queen Latifah comedy "Just Wright" is rounding out its cast.

The production has added Michael Landes, who will play the pic's role of Nelson.

Landes this summer is shooting Alyssa Milano-toplined romantic comedy "My Girlfriend's Boyfriend," in which he plays one of the romantic leads. The CAA-repped actor has also has had roles in Overture's romantic drama "Last Chance Harvey" and Screen Gems thriller "Lakeview Terrace."

"Wright," which centers on a romance between a physical therapist and her basketball player patient, is shooting this summer in New York. Common and Pam Grier also star in the pic, which is being helmed by "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" director Sanaa Hamri.
