- Milo Rau: I understood that I couldn't do a Jesus film here as Pasolini did when he invited normal people, normal citizens, to the film, without these people. I couldn't do a Jesus film for this time without including these real social problems we have and go back kind of to the Gospel and go back to the social revolution for which Jesus stands for in his time.
