No credits for director or crew (or anyone apart from the cast) signals Playgirl's "Amorous Sexcapades" as a loser amongst its hundred or so DVD culled from the Playgirl TV vaults. The six vignettes plus minor bonus segments are strictly ho-hum.
That includes the great Samantha Ryan in boy/girl action with Kurt Lockwood. She's blonde and he's a rock guitarist in a vignette titled "Watching Him Play", as generic as its moniker.
IR action has Tyler Knight humping Lola in "Cabin Fever": sex in front of a fireplace with purple prose voice-over narration (uncredited) including tripe like "Everything about him was edible". Words to live by.
An actual talkie is included alongside the mind-numbing pantomimes, as the appealing Sharon Wild seduces Talon. This one has a romantic slow-burn build-up to sex, but it's his big-dick that takes over.
"Kinks and Brains" stars TJ Cummings with Gia Paloma, and reflecting her screen penchant for BDSM there's a riding crop involved. Stylization with flashing lights is annoying and I still don't get the recent porn use of cigarette smoking as some sort of fetish. Just a new-fangled way of glorifying the pernicious practice.
A bonus audition has British star Clarke Kent interviewed, posing and jerking off.
