- Ludwig Von Drake: [taking a TV set apart] Hello there! I'll be right with you; I'm trying to hook up to DTV. You want to know what DTV is?
- [works his way into the TV set and throws out the monitor]
- Ludwig Von Drake: DTV is music videos, only they mix the best of Disney cartoons with rock 'n' roll.
- [turns a dial on the TV]
- Ludwig Von Drake: All you have to do is turn on this little knob and you've got your DTV! See?
- [nothing happens; Von Drake gets impatient, hitting the TV and twisting the dial so much he breaks it off]
- Ludwig Von Drake: What's the matter with this thing? It's a new stereo TV!
- [he shakes the TV, trying to get something to happen, but still nothing]
- Ludwig Von Drake: Oh, well.
- [he chuckles, then gives the TV a hard kick; suddenly, the monitor, connected to the TV only by way of wires, turns on, formally starting the special]
- Mickey Mouse: Now let's see Bambi and his friends fall in love to Lionel Richie's song "Hello".
- [shows clips from "Bambi" with the deer and his friends becoming "twitterpated"]
- Mickey Mouse: After all, animals meet sweethearts, too.
- Jiminy Cricket: Hello again. Have you all been enjoying the sights and sounds of love? Life would be pretty dull without them. Now, a good relationship takes love and care. Here's our special tribute to the longest-running romance in the movies: Mickey and Minnie!
- Mickey Mouse: Introducing on this DTV, my great old pal, Donald Duck!
- Donald Duck: Thank you, thank you, thank you! Great stuff!
- [squawks elatedly]
- Mickey Mouse: [standing off to the side] Hurry up, Donald!
- Donald Duck: Okay. I'm the greatest lover in the movies. Mickey, I...
- Mickey Mouse: Speak more clearly, Donald! We can't understand you!
- Donald Duck: [enraged] Wak! What's the big idea? Can't understand me? Don't you understand English?
- [goes into his usual temper tantrum while the crowd boos him and a stage hook grabs him and pulls him offstage]
- Mickey Mouse: On with the show!
- ["I Just Called To Say I Love You" by Stevie Wonder plays]
- [a clip from "Mickey's Rival" is shown, in which Minnie falls for Mortimer, making Mickey jealous]
- Jiminy Cricket: Mickey wasn't the only one who got jealous. His faithful friend Pluto was also... er, dogged by heartbreak.
- ["Don't Go Breaking My Heart" by Elton John and Kiki Dee plays]
- Donald Duck: And speaking of puppy love, my favorite is "Lady and the Tramp"!
- [he sits down to watch the movie, which is at the "Bella Notte" segment]
- Jiminy Cricket: And now, here's our newest gang! Let's welcome to our Disney family, the Gummi Bears! Meet Gruffi!
