Plot

Set in early 1940s, both Shanghai and Chongqing are covered by smoke of battle. Chen Shan is embroiled into surging conflicts between Japanese, KMT and CCP. Ultimately, Chen grows into a determined patriot after fighting together with fellow compatriots.
