- Doug Liman re-cut the movie for Netflix, with Bill Pohlad's permission, to include Trump's pardon of Lewis Libby (Scooter Libby).He also recut the film several years after its initial release to tone down Sean Penn's performance. Penn was working through a lot of issues in his personal life (he was in the midst of divorcing Robin Wright) and was very unhappy with his performance in the film.
