In life born of fire at the very end a quick shot of a nude woman on magazine cover.
In one episode there is a scene depicting a woman pulled from the river naked. The camera lingers on her completely naked form for long periods of time as men and women gather in a circle to stare. This scene is gratuitous nudity and quite unnecessary. Stopped watching after that.

Generally every episode is centered around one or more murders. By definition, the theme involves violence. There is little actual violence depicted though frequently dead bodies are shown, sometimes with injuries or blood apparent.

numerous scenes depicting drinking of a social nature, some of the main characters smoke and this theme is pervasive across the series.
On occasion some characters get drunk, but this is rare.

There are scenes depicting murder and other tragedy. Generally these are not particularly intense and should not be frightening except to the young or very sensitive.
