This is the first film devoted to Boccioni, the great futurist painter and sculptor. The script is good, clear and the artists impersonating Boccioni and Marinetti are also good. It is too bad that RAI and the producers did not think of putting an English version on the market. It would have been a great asset to all those teaching Art History and especially Futurism. It is unbelievable that such an important art movement as Futurism has been so neglected by the art-form that it tried to advertise as the real modern form of communication. It would be a very good idea to make a series of mini-films about Marinetti, Boccioni, Carrà, Depero, Severini (last film: French TV a real nullity.) Balla and all the other great artists of this unique movement. Jean-Pierre de Villers, University of Windsor, Canada
