- TriviaEven though it's supposed to just be a joke, Jesse wouldn't have been able to vote in more than two presidential elections at this point much less for three past presidents. The earliest he could have voted for a president would have been 1984 since he turned 18 in 1981.
- GoofsWhen Joey comes to see Jesse at the radio station, Jesse only introduces him to Julie as "Joey." However, by the time she leaves the room she somehow knows his last name is Gladstone.

Having just got off an abysmal episode, writers knew fans of the show needed something to put everything back on track. Here we have another episode where all plots work.
With his album off the charts (thanks a lot for his touring ultimatum, Becky), Jesse tries out to be a new dj at KFLH Radio. Joining him on that day is Joey, who get carried away and embarrasses Jesse. Jesse is offered the job only if Joey joins him. Jesse is not happy with that. At that time, Joey is forced to have a new sidekick on his Ranger Joe show to bump up sinking ratings. The person is Jungle Jenny: the producer's obnoxious wife. She embarrasses and physically hurts Joey. I hate to say it, but the bit we see with Jungle Jenny looks like more fun than the Ranger Joe stuff we saw in season 5. The Bugs Bunny violence never seems to go out of style. Sorry, Joey.
The subplot is awesome. Stephanie needs some good material to write for English class. So she decides to use DJ and Steve for inspiration. Just as they seem okay, she plants notes to sabotage them to further her story.
The subjects of embarrassment and loyalty are tested well here. Both Jesse and Joey need jobs and both get tastes of humiliation. Simple, but very well put.
Good job!
