That Woman

Ida Lupino plays Flo Watson. A glamorous widow from the city. Flo and her late husband ran a pharmacy store.

Now the widowed Flo has been bought by her brother in law to live in their farm.

Pa and Ma Watson are simple farmers and god fearing folk.

It takes Flo a while to get used to her late husband's family. However at first the family are wary of Flo. Especially as Flo seems to think that her husband is still alive.

This 30 minute drama fell down between two stools.

Was it about a hysterical woman who is still grieving for her husband? Or a woman who decides to become a country bumpkin and opt for a simple way of life?

I just found it strange that a street wise woman like Flo would even contemplate coming to live with her late husband's family.
