While on the prowl in Rotterdam, TwitchFilm bumped into Steve Oram, the English actor who may be spotted in television series Tittybangbang, The World´s End or Ben Wheatley´s chiller Kill List. Steve Oram co-wrote Wheatley´s dark touristic comedy Sightseers where he stars alongside Alice Lowe, who was not only his acting but also writing partner. The time was ripe for Steve to complete his feature directing debut, charmingly titled Aaaaaaaah! (read Ard´s review), a family drama cross-over between Planet of the Apes and A Clockwork Orange. Oram plays with the spirit of midnight movies interweaving schlock, bleak and surreal humor and socio-evolutional musings during which is not uttered a single one word. The British director was accompanying the film in Rotterdam, where it played in...

Tony Way (Finding Neverland) will play Ser Dontos Hollard in Season 2 of Game of Thrones. Winter-is-coming reports: Dontos Hollard is a bumbling knight that befriends Sansa Stark, who remains at court in King’s Landing. Tony Way is an English actor, comedian, and writer, who is best known for playing various characters, in the hit BBC sketch comedy TV series Tittybangbang and playing the character Dave in the movie, Ali G Indahouse. If you follow the books then you know Tony Way could be offending our male sensibilities with some full frontal nudity at a certain knight tourney. Hopefully that's not the case but who can forget that eye-cringing moment from Season 1. Season 2 - Terror Tease Game of Thrones is an American medieval fantasy television series created for HBO by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. Based on author George R. R. Martin's best-selling A Song of Ice and...

Kill List is without a doubt one of the year's most exciting, most daring, most shocking films. So it's with great pleasure we bring you the news that director Ben Wheatley is now starting work on a "pitch-black comedy" by the name of Sightseers. The plot sees a couple embark on a lark around the British Isles, seeing the likes of the Crich Tramway Museum, the Ribblehead Viaduct and the Keswick Pencil Museum, before fate, mothers and sheer back luck intervene and things take an altogether darker turn.Chris, the male lead, will be played by Steve Oram and his belle is called Tina, who'll be brought to life by Alice Lowe. They're also the screenwriters for the film, so we're guessing there'll be more than a little improv going on as shooting starts this week. You might know Steve Oram from his turns as Donni in The Mighty Boosh...

Happen to remember the SXSW Midnight film that Rob called “a blood-drenched trip down the rabbit hole“? Hopefully you added it to that list you keep of smaller films to look out because there’s good news on the horizon. IFC Midnight is looking to give Kill List a release sometime in the near future, and its director Ben Wheatley already has his next project lined up. According to The Playlist, Wheatley will be joined by executive producer Edgar Wright to create Sightseers – a dark comedy that focuses on two road-tripping psychos. Those psychos will be played by the screenwriters Alice Lowe and Steve Oram who are no strangers to the British comedy world or the mind of Steve Coogan/Alan Partridge. In fact, Lowe appeared in Hot Fuzz as Tina, one of the residents of the sleepy little hamlet of Sanford, and Oram was on the best-named television show of all time: Tittybangbang. The...

We filmed it in April in Cardiff and Gloucester and Monmouth and so it has died down a bit, but now it is getting closer and I just can't wait.
"It is just a one-off Christmas special but out of all the episodes I could have been asked to do it is far better that it is this one. The Doctor is faced with another Doctor. Rosita is the assistant to the other Doctor but as the episode goes on she starts helping the Doctor we know."
