The eccentric Kate and the quiet Echo live in a strange, artificial world full of cardboard trees and weird colors. Kate likes men but tends to kill them, but in her desperate love for the egocentric artist Bruno she doesn't succeed. He's busy to attract the attention of a posh art scene public and doesn't want to see her. Her friend Echo on the other hand discreetly loves the happy "Baumarktboy", who sings gay songs about his work and his dreams - and they're really hilarious and witty. But when bad Bruno uses the "Baumarktboy" for one of his art installations the poor and a bit naive boy gets poisoned with a strange black fluid that begins to cover his body. Echo finds him and does the best she can to save his true love... . The whole story is rather strange and sometimes a bit hard to follow, but with a more intuitive approach based on the really beautiful photography you'll get the point easily. Funny, witty, good acting, brilliant music and the unreal fantasy-like setting make it a very unusual little drama-musical-short film and a rare visual experience you should not miss.
