I'm not sure why this film has an individual entry as it's the second part of a six-part German serial. It's also a little difficult to comment on the plot as I haven't seen the first episode. All six can be found on the terrific French Retour de flamme DVDs which each contain a wealth of rare and diverse films form the early(ish) years of cinema.
This is quite ambitious for a serial. It's actually filmed on location in Egypt and the shots look superb. From what I could gather the story involves an intrepid woman's attempts to fly around the world and her adventures on the way. She thinks she's being helped by a dashing co-pilot who is actually trying to sabotage her attempt, and is constantly bickering with an insurance agent she doesn't realise is trying to ensure she succeeds. Fascinating stuff.
