Kishori Shahne's only leading role as a heroine in Hindi film,later on she married films director Deepak Balraj,she was already an established actress as a heroine in Marathi films before Bomb Blast.
Ronit Roy played the lead but Shakti Kapoor had neater role then him.
The song Janam Din Mubrak Tujhe sampled Kris Kross song " Jump".
The song "Lena Hain Lena Hain Dil Tera Lena Hain" was sampled from the song "Eho Kudee Lainee Ai" from the album Daddy Da Paisa by Param Khurana and Bali Brahmbhatt. The same song was also recreated for the movie "Yeh Hain Ghar Ki Mahabharat " for the song " Kaise Kudi Laoge"(Meri Shaadi Kara De).
The film was originally titled "Jaan Jaane Jaanam".
