All fake looking comic violence, cartoonish and all played for laughs. Fight with different news teams, a character loses a limb comically, fake bloody stub.

All of the violence is over-the-top and played for laughs; it is not as intense as it may seem.

A bear bites off a man's arm. No blood.

You see a few news-casting teams hitting each other with cameras and microphones on the street. A guy gets stabbed (not bloody), a guy is on fire and a guy's arm is chopped off (with the stub clearly visible).

Brick throws a trident and kills a man with it (he should probably lay low for a while)

Woman throws a typewriter at a man, it hits him in the head.

A woman rips off a TV antenna and whips a man a few times with it.

A woman sprays mace in a man's eyes. He later sprays it in his own eyes by accident

At one point in the movie a lady says "It smells like Bigfoot's dick!"

Five uses of the word "shit." Plenty of use of terms like "ass," "bitch," "crap," "hell," "damn," "whore," "hooker," and one use of the insult "dickweed."

The F-word is said 4 more times in the UNRATED version.

Although the scene with the dog being thrown off a bridge into water is meant to be comical, and looks very fake, it could still upset some animal lovers.

While there's no nudity or detailed sex, there's a pretty big amount of verbal sexual humor. Some might be offended by frequent instances of sexism. 1970s sexism is a prominent theme in this movie.
