Oh... (sniffles) Happy memories! I remember at the turn of the New Millennium this was broadcast every afternoon on CITV and I used to love coming home from school to see it taped on a recordable videocassette that also held moving pictures of some other CITV favourites of mine of which I am pleased to say I still have now though the picture quality is obviously not 100%. That was 7 years ago when a was a 10-year-old youngster in 2000. Oh how I adore "Dog and Duck" and the memories it never fails to bring back to me. The stars of this children's program are too cute for words. Dog is a comfortingly traditional toy on wheels and Duck is also of a classic design resembling a kind of push-along toy and if that's not lovable enough for you; they are both so gentle. The adventures they undertake living in a eccentric house are so much fun and very, very educational. They have friends who are also inanimate objects; Elephant who is too timid to ever leave the toy-box, Piano who never talks without playing jolly musical notes with his keyboard, Telly a rather no-nonsense television and two plastic little horses who don't usually get on. On the whole, I should recommend a maximum age of 11 but you don't have to take my word for it - I can't resist "Dog and Duck" despite my being a mature teenager or else I would be giving this upcoming matter as much thought as I do; it is not shown on television anymore which I think is such a shame. I believe that it was popular with young children like I was and yet they still removed it our screens! Why?!
