On of the craziest and funniest Japan-US Co-Productions I've ever seen! In only 25minutes every episode told you one of the most famous fairy tales (Grimm's and some of H.C. Andersen), but not only that, there are also other well known stories like "Robin Hood" or "Heidi". The pictures are in the typical Anime SD (= super deformed) style, the characters are small, a little bit to thick and very sweet, it looks as if children had created them. The told stories are short and most of the time not much like the original one, but the ironic and totally overstressed way in which the stories are told make this series to a funny thing for everyone - especially for that who know the original stories and think they are boring... Funky, funny and a MUST!
