During the VE celebration in Edmonton, only one Canadian flag was being waved, while there were many British Union Jacks- one of which was flying upside down.

At Charlie's welcome home party, a Bushmill's Whisky bottle is shown with a screw top lid. Most liquor bottles of the time, Bushmill's included had a cork stopper, not a screw cap.
The telephone Lily is using at the 82 min mark is inaccurate for the 1940s.
