- TriviaThe song "Come September" by Bobby Darin proved to be a major inspiration for many filmmakers for years to come. The first one was "Sunte The Naam Ham Jinka Bahar Se" from Aah (1953). The song "Aaja Mere Humzabaan Main Dhoondo Yahan" from Rocket Tarzan also sampled Come September. Another song that used a smalll portion of Come September was "Pyar Ki Aag Mein Tan Badan Jal Gaya" from Ziddi (1964). The intro of "Pukarta Chala Hoon Main" from Mere Sanam also sampled the same song. The 1966 song "Vandhal Ennodu" picturised on Jayalalitha from film Naan also sampled Come September. Pakistani song "Samajh Na Aaye Dil Ko" (Daal Main Kala - 1962) also is on the list. Suman Kalyanpur had released a Hindi version of "Come September" in 1964 titled "Rim Jhim (Tune "Come September"). It was a non film song released on a EP record album titled " Dhak Dhak / Rim Jhim". When Manoj Kumar enters Helen's house in Woh Kaun Thi, Come September can be heard. "Come September" was used in the opening titles of the movie "Kahin Pyar Na Ho Jaye" (1963). "Come September" was also used as back ground music in Hamraaz (1967). The title music of the movie Rocky Mera Naam once again used the same song. In the movie International Crook, in the scene when Dharmendra and Saira Banu go on honeymoon/boating, the theme music of 'Come September' is playing in background. "Come September"song has also been used in the movie Chakkar Pe Chakkar (1977) im Madan Puri's den. Years later the song "Nazarein Mili Dil Dhadka" from Raja and "Dole Dole Dile Dole" from Baazi (1995) both sampled "Come September". The same tune can be heard in the intro of the song "Boliyan" by A.S. Kang from the album Kang Fu.
