Actor Pascal Cervo says he was "not very comfortable" that his character was gay and initially refused to take part as a result - but he says he thinks this reluctance is "what interested [director] Catherine Corsini" to cast him as the closeted teen.
The film was actor Pascal Cervo's debut. He was first spotted by the director while walking in front of a department store with friends aged 15.
