  Doyle : [annoyed]  What do you want?

  Teddy : I was thinking. Since you're not coming home for Thanksgiving, I figured you could come spend it with me and my folks.

  Doyle : Don't think I can handle that much fun.

  Teddy : Is that a no?

  Doyle : That's... a no.

  Teddy : [sarcastic]  Great. Well, have a nice weekend rotting in your own pissed-off world.

  Teddy : Do you want to take the call, shit-head?

• Teddy : [enters Doyle's room]  Doyle? You ma's on the phone.

  Doyle : [turns around]  Do you know how to knock?

  Teddy : The door was unlocked.

  Doyle : I said, do you know how to knock?

  [takes off his reading glasses] 

  Doyle : Someone from any decent sort of background would knock and she's not my MA. I don't have a MA. YOU may have a MA. I have a mother, okay?

  Teddy : [annoyed]  Do you want to take the phone call, shithead?

  Doyle : I could have you written up for profanity.

  Teddy : Oh, yeah? I'm really scared.

  Doyle : I WILL have you written up. Working in the kitchen will be good for you, Teddy. You can have a taste of what your career at Burger King will be like.

  [leaves the room and Teddy follows him down the hall] 

  Teddy : What makes you think you're so superior?

  Doyle : I don't have to think.

  Teddy : It's sickening how much you love yourself.

  Doyle : Yeah. I guess it would be to someone who's enrolled here only because his father's an employee.

  Teddy : [as Doyle retreats]  At least, I HAVE a father!
