Laila, brought up in a brothel, is a cabaret dancer in Digvijay Singh's five star hotel. One day, her dying mother informs her that she is adopted. Laila is aided by Karan in her search for the mother.

Laila, brought up in a brothel, is a cabaret dancer in Digvijay Singh's five star hotel. On day her dying mother informs her that Laila is her adopted child. Laila is aided by Karan in her search for the mother. Her search leads her to Razia, who divulges that eighteen years ago, there were three naughty little girls in her college Barkha, Salma and Raj. They were in love with their boyfriends and one of them delivered a baby girl. Each of the three looked after the baby as if it were her own. The baby was later handed over to Razia. Now all three girls are leading their own lives and have a god standing in society. But Laila is determined to bring them together to seek answers from them and find acceptance at the hands of her real mother.—gavin@[email protected]

In the year 1973 - 1974 three girls, Barkha, Rajlaxmi and Salma graduate from St. Teresa's girls' hostel. They get intimate with their boyfriends, Sunil, Arjun and Akram which ended up leaving one of them pregnant; they come together, make sure the pregnant one give birth and attempt to bring up the child, Sitara on condition that the one who marry first shall adopt the child thus Sitara is left in the care of Razia who takes her to an orphanage maintained by Shantidevi. They all does get settled in life but does not adopt Sitara thus when they return to search for her she is unable to be found and because of this they became angry at each other and they split up. 18 years later they all are now important personalities in the city who are confronted by a prostitute, Laila who claims that one of them is her mother and wants some answers from them at any and all costs.—gavin ([email protected])

During the academic year 1973-74, three young women graduate from St. Teresa's Convent, namely Barkha, Rajlaxmi, and Salma. They have a good time with their respective boyfriends, Sunil, Arjun, and Akram. Unfortunately, before they could get married, one of them becomes pregnant. The three decide not to reveal the mother's identity, bring up the child as their own, and the first one to get married gets to look after the child. A baby girl is born and is named Sitara. She is left in the care of Razia, who later takes her to an orphanage run by Shantidevi. Subsequently, Salma gets married to Akram, but does not adopt Sitara. Rajlaxmi also gets married, but again does not adopt Sitara. Barkha's boyfriend leaves her to settle in the U.S.A., and is never heard from again. Three years later when the three friends go to visit Sitara, they are told that she has been abducted. The three return back to their lives, and refuse to speak with each other. 18 years later, Barkha is now the Health and Welfare Minister; Salma is the Principal of St. Teresa's Convent, while Rajlaxmi manages a stud farm. Their lives are turned upside down when a prostitute, Laila, enters their lives, claiming that she is their daughter, and wants to know who her biological mother is.
