After middle-aged New York stock exchange trader Steve Giardino divorces his longtime wife Jackie, they must each enter the frightening but sometimes funny world of blind dates and new relationships.

An AMEX/NYSE American trader and his wife, both circa 50, divorce after decades together (pregnant daughter in her 20s). She start an education so as to teach deaf children. They both start dating other people but after many misadventures, they go together to a swap party at an artist's loft. She meets the single, younger artist.
