Guardians of the Abyss is an unofficial TV remake of Hammer's earlier film The Devil Rides Out, only the character names and a few plot details have been altered. Rosalyn Landor made her screen debut in The Devil Rides Out and plays the female lead in Guardians of the Abyss.
