When the final copyright credits appear, Gonzo appears under them and says "Whoa, wait, don't go home yet. Say cheese!" Gonzo then takes a picture of the whole audience and the screen goes black when he takes it because the flashbulb "blinded" the audience. After the screen goes black, Gonzo's voice is heard saying, "I'll send you each a copy."
At the opening of the film, Kermit, Fozzie, and Gonzo are riding in a hot air balloon and commenting on the opening credits. Sample dialog: "Gee, a lot of people worked on this movie.", "Nobody reads those names anyway, do they?", "Sure, they all have families."
In a parody of the MGM Studios logo, this film opens with Animal roaring like the MGM lion. He then proceeds to partly devour the surrounding title card, but turns around and sees a hot air balloon overhead.
Steve Whitmire's credits reveal that his trumpet-playing character in the Electric Mayhem, who had recently introduced in "The Muppet Show" around the time of release, is named Lips. Lips would not be referred to by name in-universe until the 2015 music video "Kodachrome".
