This movie was retitled as 'The Day After Halloween' for the film's American release in the USA. On video there it was similarly titled 'The Night After Halloween'. Reportedly, this was done to cash-in on the box-office success of John Carpenter's Halloween (1978). This film actually has nothing to do with 'Halloween' whatsoever. It is neither set on the 1st November nor is it significantly a horror movie like Halloween (1978) but more a suspense-thriller. This distinction is pointed out in the documentary, Not Quite Hollywood: The Wild, Untold Story of Ozploitation! (2008).
The name of the perfume that Angela (Sigrid Thornton) promotes during the topless photo shoot was 'Bermuda Cool'. The closing credits actually thank the Bermuda Cool Cologne Company suggesting that at the time of the film, 'Bermuda Cool' was an actual real cologne.
