The station wagon driven by Carol has completely different grilles between shots - revealing two different cars were used.
In some shots of the fuel gauge of Carol's station wagon, the gauge reads "Unleaded Fuel Only", in others it doesn't, probably because they used two different Ford Torino station wagons - a 1972 that ran on regular gas and a 1975 that ran on unleaded.
When Richard Romanus steals Valerie Harper's station wagon, it has no keys. He starts it by jumping the starter wires under the hood, and he drives off; that wouldn't be possible as without the keys, the steering wheel and gearshift would still be locked.
Valerie Harper's character couldn't fly to Denver because the Denver airport was closed due to snow, yet in the hospital scene there's no trace of snow and you can see a tree with green leaves outside the window.
The credits list Valerie Harper as Carol Turner, yet when she is in the motel, she specifically states her name as Carol Turney, or Turny.
Nicholas Pryor's character is listed in the end credits as "Man in Jaguar", but the car he's shown in is a 1969 Continental Mark III.
