Despite the description their are no US Marshalls in this story, but do not let that stop you from buying or seeing it. The first film that I ever saw. Loved it.
Both Johnny Mack Brown and Lynne Carver began their carers at MGM and that background shows in performance polish, empathy and presence. Raymond Hatton, always a welcome, supports both stars in every possible way. Look for Douglas Fowley between stints at Metro, with Battleground and Singing' In The Rain yet to come. Great songs by Smith Ballew, Glenn Miller's original band singer, and not too long before this one, star of his own series.
So, not big budget, but big heart. Only Johnny's poorly dubbed title song prevents a full ten out of ten rating.
