Note: Although this is a 1940's movie, the violence is slightly more intense than the typical 1940's war movie. Even so, the action is not that intense.
Two men are shot in the head by snipers; the first one shows a little blood.
The bombing sequence at the beginning shows various deaths: people are blown up (like dummies) and a burning beam falls on top of a wounded soldier, killing him as he screams.
A man is killed by being stabbed with a samurai sword, though nothing is shown.
A man shoots down a plane and is then machined gunned heavily, quite a bit of blood is shown, but it is brief.
A man is hanged over a ravine (after having been tortured by methods not mentioned).
Suffering from malaria, a soldier dies.
A man sitting in a plane is shot, a little blood is seen.
Going delirious, a man launches a futile attack and is shot. Three bullet holes and a little blood are seen.
