There has been the murder of an actor during the performance of a Broadway play, and the theatre is closed. Reports around and about and here and yonder and uptown and downtown circulate that the theater is now haunted by the ghost of the murder actor. A NYC police detective has some doubts about that, and posing as a producer, reopens the house and the play. He has a hunch that the killer will show his hand. He does just that as yet another actor is murdered by mysterious means. Someway or another, a third actor takes the role and ...well, just keep your eye on the stagehand who dabbles in real estate.
