When Neil pays off Molly's taxi driver, the driver shows him Bobby Brandon and George Allison sleeping in the back. Neil then pays the driver extra to take them back to Harlem where the driver found them and the driver gets back in the taxi to take them back. But in the following shot, the drunken Brandon and George are awake and hanging out at Neil's party.
When Connie takes the card from the gift box of flowers, she reads who it is from, then turns it over to read the message. But in the next immediate cut which is a closeup of her hand, she repeats the action of reading that the card is from Neil Hartley, then turning it over to read the message on the other side.
When Neil pulls up at Connie's residence, a flower lady holds up a bouquet of flowers in each hand, but in the next shot she is now holding only one bouquet in her right hand, which in the previous shot was in her left hand.
When Connie and Arthur are walking out of the building, Neil Hartley is shown hiding behind a tree. But in the following closeup, Neil is in front of the tree, then moves behind it.
When Arthur is saying goodnight to Connie, her headscarf falls off; the actor playing Arthur fails to acknowledge this although it happened right in front of his eyes. After Connie enters her room and closes the door, he walks away, leaving it lying on the floor.
When Brandon is talking to Connie on the phone, his butler is mixing him some sort of bromide with water for his hangover, and he overdoes the mixture, creating a large foam that spills onto the floor. The actor playing the butler fails to acknowledge this, continuing to serve the drink to Brandon. The scene in this drama is not meant to be comic therefore the character should have reacted.
