In a late scene, after the melee in the newspaper office - you can clearly see in medium shots of Reginald Denny, William Austin and Ruth Dwyer - that they're on a VERY cold set - as their breathes are visible.
The Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California was used for "The Hotel de la Paix." The landmark California mission-inspired hotel is featured in several scenes shot in and around Will Rogers Memorial Park (called Sunset Park in 1924 when the hotel, on the other side of Sunset Boulevard, was 12 years old).
Prints of this film survives.
This is one of about two dozen feature films directed by Harry A. Pollard, which the American Film Institute Catalog of Feature Films, in all 3 of their volumes, 1911-1920, 1921-1930 and 1931-1940, chooses to erroneously credit to comedian Harry (Snub) Pollard, who is, of course, a different person entirely.
The Reckless Age has been restored and released in the US on an August 2020 Kino Lorber Blu-ray, as one of three films in the "Reginald Denny Collection". Per the restoration information from various online sites, the restoration was of the only known surviving copy, a Dutch copy. For the restoration, the Dutch version of the cast list and the intertitles were translated back into English.
