Viking life at the close of the 8th century.

It's an ordinary day in a viking village, and Eigil wonders in the woods. Sol sits and reads her runes, knowing that soon a Viking warrior will pass her by. She loudly speaks him and wants him to come and hear what she and the runes have to say. Eigil ignores her initially but he gets curious seeing Sol reading her runes. After a tense exchange of words Eigil finds what he is missing. Now he is prepared to take on his mission.
