Being amazed and inspired by Back to the Future (1985), Gergö Elekes started playing with the idea of shooting a film at the age of 15. Between 2005 and 2010 he made a couple of short films with the help of his close friends however these films were so amateur he decided not to make them available to the public. In 2010 he made friendship with József Gallai and they made their first project together in 2012 with Hungary's first mumblecore feature film Csendes változás (2012). This was the beginning of their long time collaboration.
In 2014 Gergö Elekes co-directed and co-composed the music for Hungary's first feature length found footage horror Bodom (2014). In this year the film opened the Bram Stoker International Film Festival in Whitby, UK as well as collected several nominations on film festivals including 30 Dies Festival in Andorra, Amazon Horror Awards in Brazil, Golden Rake Award for Indie Horror and New York Scary Film Awards in the US.
In 2015 Bodom (2014) was in the final competition at the Full Moon Horror & Fantasy Film Festival in Romania, competing with award winning films such as Cub (2014), Horsehead (2014) and Reality (2014).
In the beginning of 2016 his next horror movie Moth (2016) was completed and finished 4th Best Feature Film at the International Horror Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. The movie has been called a "thought-provoking and chilling film" by Found Footage Fiction and a "front running for a new horror niche" by Horror Habit. According to Horror Asylum, Moth (2016) is "an unusual experience with some moment reminding the author of David Lynch's Inland Empire (2006)".
In 2007 he started composing music as a hobby and since then he was responsible for the music of several international short and feature projects.
Gergö Elekes' score for Perihelion (2015) - directed by József Gallai - has been nominated as Best Score for three times: The Monthly Film Festival 2015 August Edition, Reel Music Awards 2015, Soundtrack Geek Awards 2016. Attila Pacsay is an award-winning composer recognized for the quirky, dramatically supercharged score of Maestro (2005), an animated short film by Géza M. Tóth nominated for the 79th Academy Awards in 2007. Cutting his teeth on short live action and animation films presented an unparalleled opportunity to work with dozens of directors in a broad range of genres, while finding his own voice as a film composer by the time he debuted in full length feature films. Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, released in 2014, was a composer's rewarding debut into full length feature films, with a wide range of musical genres and styles to integrate. Adapted from a successful Broadway play, the movie brings together the ensemble of Academy Award winning and nominated actresses Gena Rowlands, Rita Moreno and Jacki Weaver, in front of the camera of Oscar-winning DOP Vilmos Zsigmond. In the same year he has been appointed to compose accompaniment for The Undesirable (1915), an early Michael Curtiz silent film, believed to have been lost for almost a century and only recovered accidentally and restored recently. The first public screening with live symphonic accompaniment of this cinematic treasure held at the Palace of Arts Béla Bartók National Concert Hall, in October 2014. Lecturing and tutoring at Moholy Nagy University (MOME) on history of music and creative sound, Attila has a long-running academic background that helped him connect and work with film makers in his native Hungary, from up and coming animation artists through to notable directors, such as Ferenc Cakó and Academy Award winner Ferenc Rofusz.- Éva Rebecca Kovács was born on 8 December 1969 in Veszprém, Hungary.
