Michael John Myers was born in 1963 in Scarborough, Ontario, to Alice E. (Hind), an officer supervisor, and Eric Myers, an insurance agent. His parents were both English, and had served in the Royal Air Force and British Army, respectively.

Myers' television career really started in 1988, when he joined Saturday Night Live (1975), where he spent six seasons. He brought to life many memorable characters, such as Dieter and Wayne Cambell. His major movies include Wayne's World (1992), Wayne's World 2 (1993), So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993), the Austin Powers movies and The Cat in the Hat (2003).

Sugar Lyn Beard was born on 27 August 1981 in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. She is an actress and producer, known for Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016), Sausage Party (2016) and The Package (2018).

Ellen Wong was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Her first role was on the award winning television series "This Is Wonderland." She is best known for her role as Knives Chau in "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World," starring alongside Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jason Schwartzman. She auditioned against many hopefuls through an international talent search to fill the role of Knives Chau. Stephan James has quickly established himself as an incredibly dynamic lead talent in both film and television. James, a native of Canada, has held the honor of portraying several real-life figures in African American history. He starred as Olympics hero Jesse Owens in Race, directed by Stephen Hopkins, for which he received an NAACP Image Award nomination. In 2019 Stephan received his first Golden Globe nomination for his starring role opposite Julia Roberts in Amazon Prime's hit series Homecoming. Stephan was also the male lead in Barry Jenkins' acclaimed, Golden-Globe Film Independent Spirit Award and Critics' Choice Award-nominated film, If Beale Street Could Talk. The film was named one of the American Film Institute's Top 10 Films of the Year, one of the top Films of 2018 by the National Board of Review. James was recently honored at the Canadian Screen Awards as the first ever recipient of the Radius Award, given to a Canadian film or television professional who is making waves internationally.

Eric Adrian Bauza is a Canadian-American voice actor from Scarborough, Toronto who is known for being one of Mel Blanc's successors for Looney Tunes characters such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. He also voiced Stimpy Cat in Ren & Stimpy: Adult Party Cartoon, White Pantera in El Tigre, Foop from The Fairly OddParents, Fozzie Bear from Muppet Babies and the Beagle Boys from DuckTales. He has one child.

The youngest of eight children, Karen grew up in an active home in a small town just outside of Toronto.

He is a Canadian actor, who performed the role of Thad Guerwitcz on ESPN's football series Playmakers, and was the voice actor of Geoff in Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, and Total Drama World Tour. In 2006 he had a role of Bull in American Pie Presents The Naked Mile, a part he reprised in 2007 in American Pie Presents Beta House.

Steve Byers was born in Ontario Canada. He began acting while attending Unionville School for the Arts. He got his feet wet with parts in film and television in shows like La Femme Nikita and the feature Slapshot 2. He first became a star name in his home country, when he landed the lead role in the series, Falcon Beach, playing the character Jason Tanner for ABC. After three seasons, he then moved on to star in the short-lived drama, Wild Roses, and then a turn as the infamous nemesis to Superman, Desaad in the CW classic Smallville. Steve also worked on blockbuster features such as Immortals for Relativity and Total Recall starring Colin Farrell for Columbia Pictures. Byers was later handed a CSA Award nomination for his lead role in the Netflix hit Slasher where he played double duty as the tortured Cam Henry and The Executioner. Byers is known internationally for his portrayal of Lawrence Klemm in Man In The High Castle for Amazon Studios and as Andrew Underhill on the Freeform hit Shadowhunters. Steve has worked on many "tentpole" productions while also keeping involved with independent films such as Peter: The Redemption where he starred alongside John Rhys-Davies. In 2015, he starred opposite Danny Glover and Dominic Purcell in the action film, Gridlocked and in 2017, he reunited with Nina Dobrev in Columbia Pictures Flatliners. In 2019 Steve was cast in a "bucket list" role and convincingly portrayed the legendary hockey icon Gordie Howe in the film Goalie.

In 2019, he starred in the dramatic film Amish Abduction where he tackles the role of Jacob, a tortured soul seeking a life outside the confines of the Amish world. He has also become recognized for his performance capture work in the ever expanding video game world. His character Nick Rye in the Far Cry franchise being one of his most lauded and recognizable to date.

Mark Taylor was born and raised in Toronto, but relocated to Palm Harbor, Florida during his last two years of high school, before returning to Toronto. Taylor is predominately known for his roles as Gene in Seventeen Again, Romeo in Student Bodies, and Kwest in Instant Star. He played the role of Lewis 'Lou' Young in the Canadian police drama television series Flashpoint until his character was killed in the 23rd episode (part of the third season). In addition, Taylor has studied computer engineering technology at Seneca College and graduated from East Lake High School as well as Albert Campbell Collegiate Institute. He is also part-owner of the National Basketball League of Canada's Oshawa Power.

Lilly Singh, a Canadian YouTuber, is known for her attempt to transition into television with "A Little Late with Lilly Singh," a late-night talk show that ran for two seasons from 2019 to 2021. The show struggled with low ratings and has one of the lowest IMDb ratings for a late-night talk show at 1.5. Singh's filmography includes the low-performing movie "Dr. Cabbie" (2014) and appearances in YouTube series such as "Giving Back Glam" (2014), "The Tube's Hautest" (2014), and "Lana Steele: Make Up Spy" (2015). Additionally, Singh's foray into music includes tracks like "#LEH" (2014) and "IVIVI" (2015), both featuring Humble The Poet, as well as a feature on Jassi Sidhu's "Hipshaker" (2013), which did not achieve significant commercial success.

Kathryn Greenwood (or "Kathy" as she prefers to be called) graduated from the Agincourt Collegiate Institute, and attended the American Acadamy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, California, where she spent two years studying acting. When she returned to Canada in 1988, the fresh-face actress became a staple in Canadian comedy, performing in several theater productions, landing parts in movies such as Switching Goals (1999), and guest-starring on numerous television series. In 1996, Kathy landed the part of aunt "Grace Bailey" on the Canadian drama series Wind at My Back (1996), which lasted for five successful seasons. This performance garnered Kathy a nomination for a Gemini Award for Best Performance By an Actress in a Continuing Leading Role. In 1999, Greenwood entered the U.S. again to find even more work in show business. It was then she became a part of the regular recurring cast of the American version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? (1998); In 2000, when Kathy returned to her Canadian roots, she became the first-ever to win the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Female Improviser. Gerry Dee, the son of Scottish immigrant parents, was born in Scarborough and raised in Toronto. He played Varsity hockey at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia and become a high-school physical-education teacher. He was the first Canadian to ever win the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition. He is a two handicap at golf.

James Gallanders was born at Scarborough General Hospital on February 9th, 1970 in Toronto, Ontario. Raised in Oshawa, James discovered acting at a young age as a means to overcome his stutter. Having found his voice, James became heavily involved in theatre in his community and at school.

After graduating from York University in 1993 with a BFA in their Acting Program, James found success right away, landing guest spots on television shows such as Due South, La Femme Nikita, and Psi Factor, as well as film roles in Reluctant Angel and Bride of Chucky.

Several of his films had been invited to festivals around the world, including the Atom Egoyan exec-produced Babyface, which made its world premiere at the Cannes International Film Festival in 1997, and both The Third Miracle, in which he starred opposite Ed Harris, and Shake Hands with the Devil, which was shot in Rwanda, had their world premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival.

In 2008, James married actress Stacie Mistysyn, best known for her portrayal of Caitlyn Ryan on the DeGrassi series. They have two children, a son, Grayson Gallanders, and a daughter, River Gallanders.

Franco Lo Presti was born on 5 August 1990 in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is an actor, known for Bad Blood (2017), Jupiter's Legacy (2021) and From the Vine (2019).

Kristin Fairlie is an award-winning actress and singer. She made her feature film debut, opposite Demi Moore, Gary Oldman and Robert Duvall in The Scarlet Letter (1995). Kristin is a Young Artist of Hollywood Award Winner for her lead role in the movie The Sweetest Gift (1998). She has starred opposite such noted talent as Anne Heche, Kristen Bell, Diahann Carroll and Laura Dern, and was cast by Sofia Coppola in the film, The Virgin Suicides (1999). Kristin starred as the voice of "Little Bear" in the Daytime Emmy nominated & Gemini Award-winning, Nickelodeon/Nelvana animated series, Little Bear (1995) and The Little Bear Movie (2000). Mercedes Morris is a multi-disciplinary artist from Scarborough, ON. She's an accomplished actress who has appeared on screens and stages across the country. In addition to her lead role on SkyMed for Paramount+ and CBC, Morris can currently be seen recurring on CBS's Ghosts. Her other recent credits include The Amityville Curse (Incendo), Y: The Last Man (Hulu), American Gods (Starz/Prime), Hudson and Rex (City), Killjoys (Temple Street Productions) and as the series lead on Slasher season 3 and season 5 (Shaftesbury/Netflix). She also joined the cast of Between (City/Netflix) in the second season as a series lead. Notable stage credits include captivating roles in Pipeline (Soulpepper), Tartuffe (Canadian Stage, Stratford Festival); Lear (Groundling Theatre); and Twelfth Night, The School for Scandal (Stratford Festival). Mercedes also has extensive motion capture experience, appearing in multiple Ubisoft video game titles, including Far Cry 6 and the upcoming, Star Wars: Outlaws.

As a singer-songwriter, Mercedes uses her vocal prowess to command the mic. Her unique fusion of R&B and Caribbean flavour, influenced by her Toronto hometown and Jamaican /Guyanese background, is available on all music streaming platforms.

Beyond her artistic pursuits, Mercedes is deeply passionate about activism and mentoring youth, particularly fourth-year drama students, of her alma maters, the University of Toronto and Sheridan College.

Tony was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. He graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York in 1991. He has appeared in numerous Hollywood films as well many independent films and over a hundred episodes of television. He Is also a regular fixture on Canadian stages. Tony has been nominated for a Canadian Screen Award, A Broadway World Award, two Actra Awards, and two Dora Mavor Moore Awards.

Varun Saranga was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. He became interested in acting during high school through filmmaking, directing and starring in various student films. After attending an open call at 18 and landing his first major role playing the geeky but lovable AJ Mehta on the hit YTV show How to Be Indie, he was inspired to pursue an acting career professionally.

Many roles followed, such as CBC's Schitt's Creek, Workin' Moms and Strays, CTV's Nurses, Hulu's Endlings, and regular roles on Burden of Truth, Carter and most notably, the People's Choice Award-Winning Wynonna Earp.

Varun will appear this year in 'Daniel's Got to Die' starring the late Bob Saget, in SyFy's 'SurrealEstate' and the final season of the HBO Max series 'Sort Of' starring Bilal Baig.

He completed the CBC Actors Conservatory program at the prestigious Canadian Film Centre in Toronto, holds a degree in Political Science from York University, and is currently doing his Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

Bizzy D, grew up in a variety of different settings. Starting out in Scarborough, Canada his rep as a champion recess fighter in elementary school. That all ceased when he retired from the WRFA (world recess fighting ass) at the tender age of eleven. He then moved on to lead a simpler life in the small farming town of Keane, filled with fishing and Rod Stewart albums.

Realizing he needed more, Bizzy and his mom picked up and moved to Ajax. Soon after Deryck bought a guitar. Then it started. Bands and song ideas started to flow. Former bands include: Powerful Young Hustlers, Eternal Death, Chemical Head, Door's of Draven, Keane's unbeatable teens, Kaspir and Final Notice. Then of course in the summer of '96 Deryck and Steve Jocz formed SUM41.

Geneviève Appleton started her career in the 1980s as an actor in such films and television programs as KIDS OF DEGRASSI and ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, THE SEQUEL (US title: ANNE OF AVONLEA). After receiving her B.A.A. in Film Production with Honours from Ryerson University (Toronto) in 1994, she started working behind the camera as associate producer trainee on the award-winning CBC mini-series THE ARROW (starring Dan Aykroyd) and on the development of feature films SUCH A LONG JOURNEY directed by Sturla Gunnarsson and WHOLE NEW THING directed by Amnon Buchbinder, among others. She associate produced WILBY WONDERFUL (starring Sandra Oh, Ellen Page, Paul Gross, Callum Keith Rennie and Rebecca Jenkins) by writer-director Daniel MacIvor, which screened at festivals around the world and is distributed in Canada by Mongrel Media and in the US by Film Movement. She recently produced Amnon Buchbinder's short, TRAVELLING MEDICINE SHOW: APOCALYPSE and is producing his interactive documentary BIOLOGY OF STORY.

Since receiving her MFA in Screenwriting from York University in 2003, Geneviève co-wrote narration for the travel series GAP: GREAT ADVENTURE PEOPLE (broadcast on National Geographic among other channels), as well as two feature film documentaries, IN THE LAND OF THE MOOSE directed by Harold Arsenault and PARTLY PRIVATE directed by Danae Elon, which won the best New York Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival.

For her company, White Wave Productions (est. 1992), Geneviève has written, produced, directed and edited several films. Her documentary A GARDEN'S FAMILY aired on Vision TV for several years. ACTOR'S TRANSFORMATION, about the work of extraordinary acting teacher Deena Levy and her students, premiered at the Female Eye Film Festival and aired on Bravo! Canada. Her short dance film CALLING THE MINSTREL was screened at the 2010 Olympics' Cultural Olympiad Digital Edition, the Atlanta Film Festival, and the Izmir International Short Film Festival. She produced Seth Feldman's documentary THE DACHAU LINE which was screened at several conferences including Visible Evidence at New York University, and produced his next documentary, MAUTHAUSEN TWICE, which premiered at the Toronto Independent Film Festival and the Utanç Muzesi ("Museum of Shame") in Turkey. She was invited to screen and give a talk on her documentary about the EAST TIMOR PEACE MISSION at the 20th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony and Conference in Timor-Leste, where it was also shown on East Timor Television. Footage from the film and an interview with Geneviève was featured as part of a new documentary by Francisco Manso Producoes for RTP1 (the Portuguese public TV channel). She also has several other dramatic and documentary projects in development. She has just completed co-directing and co-producing Colleen Wagner's powerful documentary WOMEN BUILDING PEACE about women in Africa rebuilding their lives and societies after GBV, war and genocide.

As Visiting Assistant Professor from 2005-2011, Geneviève taught Screenwriting and Media Production at the Department of Communication and Design of Bilkent University, Turkey. In 2011-2012 she taught "Anatomy of the Feature Film" and "Film Production for Non-Majors: The New Realism" at York University and "Introduction to Dramatic Writing" at Sheridan College. Since 2010 she has been teaching Screenwriting: Introduction and Screenwriting II at University of Toronto's School of Continuing Education both in class and online, as well as workshops in script development and acting for writers and directors.
